Archive or Reinstate a Promotion

An existing promotion can be archived (deactivated) by changing the dates the promotion is available to dates in the past.

You can also reinstate an archived promotion by changing the dates the promotion is available to dates in the future.

Note: Archiving (deactivating) a promotion and removing a promotion and differ in that an archived promotion can be reinstated and used again whereas a removed promotion can never again be accessed in your account. For information on removing a promotion from your Inntopia RMS account, click here.

  1. Log into Inntopia RMS and click the Promotions tab. The Promotions screen appears with any previously-created, active promotions listed. To view archived promotions, check the Show archived promotions? box.

    Note: Promotions whose booking end date expired more than one year prior to the current date will not be visible in the list of archived promotions. To access a promotion that is no longer visible on the list of promotions, contact Inntopia Partner Services.

  2. From the Options drop-down list corresponding to your promotion, select Settings. The Settings window for your promotion appears.

  3. To archive a promotion, change the dates in the Dates Available fields to dates in the past.
  4. To reinstate a promotion, in the Dates Available fields, select the first day the guest can stay with the promotion (arrival date) and the last date of the stay for the promotion (departure date), or enter the dates manually in the format mm/dd/yyyy (or dd/mm/yyyy depending on the default language for your RMS system).
