Alternate Language Display in eComm
The Inntopia system default language is English and default date format is North American (MM/DD/YYYY). However, you can set up Inntopia to appear on your website in a language other than English (EN) including:
- Australian English (EN-AU),
- German (DE),
- Spanish (ES),
- European French (FR),
- Canadian French (FR-CA),
- Italian (IT),
- Swedish (SV), and
- Portuguese (PT).
If an alternate language code is passed to Inntopia in the URL for the eComm site, the system automatically uses and displays the correct date format for the language:
- EN-AU, DE, ES, FR, IT, SV, and PT language codes generate European date format.
- EN and FR-CA language codes generate North American date format.
European Dates in Inntopia
By passing a European language code to Inntopia, you can set your sales channels to display calendars and dates in European format (DD/MM/YYYY).
The European calendar week appears as Monday – Sunday.
