eComm Direct-Link URL Templates

eComm link templates act as a base with which you can create a customized URL for a direct link to your lodging suppliers, YieldView calendar, promotions, or activities. You can use these types of links in marketing promotions and emails to give your guests a simple and direct path to initiate a purchase.

The exact information you need and directions on how to find and insert the information into the various types of direct-link URL templates is listed below .

  1. Use the below guidance to locate and replace the highlighted information within the listed URL template.
  2. If you use a custom subdomain, within the URL template, replace www.inntopia.travel with the custom subdomain.
  3. To test the customized URL, copy and paste the URL into your browser.

Note: If you attempt to use the URL templates with their included XXX’s, the webpage will not load properly. You must replace the XXX's with your specific values to load the URL.

Direct-Link URL Templates

What You Need How to Find It
Sales ID
  1. Log into Inntopia CRS.
  2. From the Inntopia CRS home page, click the Suppliers tab.
  3. On the Supplier Management window, find the online sales channel to which you want the URL to direct guests.

  4. Within the Supplier Detail URL template, replace the first XXXXXXX with the Sales ID.
Supplier ID/Location ID
  1. Log into Inntopia CRS and open the sales channel to which you want the URL to direct guests.
  2. From the Inntopia CRS home page, click the Suppliers tab.
  3. On the Supplier Management window, click on the sales channel tab to which you want the URL to direct guests and from the list of suppliers, identify the desired Supplier ID. (If you are using a Location account to organize products, identify the desired Location ID instead.)

  4. Within the Supplier Detail URL template, replace the second XXXXXXX with the Supplier ID (or Location ID).
  5. Test the URL.

  3. From the list of promotions on the Promotions page, find the promotion to which you want to create a direct link. The number next to the promotion name is the Package ID.

  4. Within the Package Builder URL template, replace the second XXXXXX with the Package ID.

Note: The promotion links above will display the least expensive lodging option by default.

To create a promotion link that offers guests a pop-up modal for their lodging options, add &forcechoice=1 to the end of the public promotion URL.

Package ID
  1. Log into Inntopia RMS.
  2. Click the Promotions tab.
  3. From the list of promotions on the Promotions page, find the promotion to which you want to create a direct link. The number next to the promotion name is the Package ID.

  4. Within the Package Builder URL template, replace the second XXXXXX with the Package ID.

Promo Code
  1. Log into Inntopia RMS.
  2. Click the Promotions tab.
  3. From the list of promotions on the Promotions page, find the promotion to which you want to create a direct link. The number next to the promotion name is the Package ID.

  4. Within the Package Builder URL template, replace the third XXXXXX with the Promo Code.
  5. Test the URL.

Note: The promotion links above will display the least expensive lodging option by default. To provide the guest a pop-up with multiple lodging options, enable the Forcechoice option. For more information, see Private Promotion with Forcechoice.

To create a promotion link that offers guests a pop-up modal for their lodging options, add &forcechoice=1 to the end of the private promotion URL.

This option is applicable only for dateless products such as season passes or merchandise.

Product Super Category ID
  1. View the list of Super Categories.
  2. Within the list, identify the desired Super Category and verify within its description that it is designated as “dateless”.
  3. Open the full list of Super Categories and their respective product categories by clicking here.
  4. Within the full list, use Ctrl+F to find the desired Super Category.
  5. Within the Super Category’s corresponding XML, identify the SuperCategoryID. This could be a one-or two-digit number.

This option is applicable only for any dated activity or lesson.

Start Date

The start date is automatically populated when the guest selects a date using the date-picker widget. To send a dated link, replace MM/DD/YYYY with the desired start date in the URL template.

Product Super Category ID
  1. View the Inntopia Help topic list of types of Super Categories.
  2. Within the list, identify the desired Super Category and verify within its description that it is designated as “dateless”.
  3. Open the full XML file list of Super Categories and their respective product categories.
  4. Within the XML list, use Ctrl+F to search for and find the desired Super Category.
  5. Within the Super Category’s corresponding XML, identify the SuperCategoryID. This could be a one-or two-digit number.

  6. Within the Dated Activity URL template, replace the second XX with the Super Category ID number.

Category ID
  1. Open the full XML file list of Super Categories and their Category IDs.
  2. Within the XML list, use Ctrl+F to search for and find the desired Super Category.

  3. Within the Super Category’s corresponding XML, identify the Category ID. This number can be up to four digits.

  4. Within the Dated Activity URL template, replace the third XXXX with the Category ID number.

    Note: Adding the Category ID to the URL is optional. Doing so will narrow the URL to a more specific product category. To omit it, remove &categoryId=XXXX from the end of the URL template.

This URL provides an option to filter activity suppliers by super category and supplier ID. Multiple suppliers can be displayed, provided you have access to them.

Supplier ID
  1. Log into Inntopia CRS.
  2. From the Inntopia CRS home page, click the Suppliers tab.
  3. On the Supplier Management window, click on the sales channel tab to which you want the URL to direct guests and from the list of suppliers, identify the desired Supplier ID. (If you are using a Location account to organize products, identify the desired Location ID instead.)

  4. Within the Requested Activity Supplier URL template, replace the thirdXXXXXXX with the Supplier ID (or Location ID).

  5. If you want, replace the remaining Supplier ID XXXXXXX placeholders with additional Supplier IDs. Supplier IDs must be separated with commas, and you can add as many as needed. Do not add a space to the URL after each comma.

    Note: If you do not want to include additional Supplier IDs, remove them from the URL, including the separating commas. The URL must end with a Supplier ID number, not a comma.

  6. Test the URL.

This URL provides an option to filter merchandise suppliers by super category and supplier ID. Multiple suppliers can be displayed, provided you have access to them.

You can direct link to a landing page in eComm to showcase specific activity and merchandise suppliers and products. By creating a direct-link URL, you can lead your customers to view a specific supplier's offerings or to a specific product for purchase through direct advertisement.

  • Activity supplier and product direct-link URLs require dated Product Super Categories which means a specific date is required for purchase. Examples include: Equipment Rental, Spa Services, Lessons, Tickets and Passes, etc.
  • Merchandise supplier and product direct-link URLs require dateless Product Super Categories which means no date is required for purchase. Examples include: Season Passes, Gift Cards, Golf Memberships, etc.

Below are some examples of potential uses for direct-link featured activity or featured supplier URLs:

Note: You cannot create direct-link product and supplier landing pages for lodging, lift tickets (YieldView Calendar), airfare, or car rentals.

This URL lets you link directly to a specific supplier's offerings for a specific activity.

To create a featured activity supplier eComm landing page, add the following to the end of an activity-specific supplier URL:

  4. Within the Featured Activity Product URL template, replace the fourth XX with the Product ID.
  5. Test the URL.

This URL lets you link directly to a specific supplier's offerings for a specific merchandise product.

To create a featured merchandise supplier eComm landing page, add the following to the end of a merchandise-specific URL:
