About Promotions
You can create a group of bundled products for discounted or non-discounted sale through your online booking engine and peer sales channels using Inntopia RMS or Inntopia CRS. Promotions can be as simple as a room and lift ticket bundled without a discount, or as complex as a three-day lodging promotion with rental car, tours, and massages as options while having different discount rates for each component.
Promotions are comprised of one or more individual products, or components. You can set flexible promotion components which lets guests choose from a number of products that qualify for the discount, or you can set individual components as 'required' parts of the promotion. Each component can have a separate discount.

Promotions can also be made private for specific promotions or events. For this type of promotion, you can associate a promotion with a specific Promotion Code. A Promotion Code is a number (numeric, alpha, or alpha-numeric) that you assign to a promotion when you create it. Consumers who receive this code, for example via a postcard mailing, are directed to enter the code when fulfilling the promotion online or through a CRS/Reseller. The Promotion Code directs the Inntopia system to that specific promotion. Using Promotion Codes lets you monitor the success of specific promotional programs and to further control the aspects of promotion sales. Private promotions are only available to those consumers who have the promotion code.
Private promotions can be built on the supplier or reseller channel, however they can only be published to the channel on which they are built. A supplier cannot publish a private promotion to an online reseller.
Note: A private promotion is only available to consumers if the appropriate code from the Code Library has been added to the website. Without that code, consumers cannot reserve the promotion because there will be no place to enter the promotion code.
