Marketing Cloud List Builder

The List Builder is used to query a client’s database for a specific segment of customers. You can use List Builder to do the following:

• Create List Folders – List folders can be used to store and organize saved lists.
• Build a New List – Lists are built and refined by creating Inclusion/Exclusion groups. “And/or” logic is used to define the relationship between groups. Once built, lists contain a standard set of output fields (Customer Key, Family Key, First Name, Last Name, Birth Date, Age, Gender). Completed lists can be viewed in different result sets, assigned a name, and saved to a list folder.
• Select Custom Output Fields – The output of your list can be customized for further analysis of customer data.
• View Customer Demographics – This dashboard-style report provides visualized customer demographic insights for any query or list you’ve created.
• Retrieve a Saved List – Saved lists can be recalled for later use or to make modifications to list content.
• Export a List – Lists can be exported to a .csv file, Email Service Provider (ESP), Facebook Custom Audience, or Google Audience to use in email/ad campaigns.
